The INSIZE IST-4W Series Quality Inspection Digital Torque Wrenches are designed for torque verification and quality-control applications where accurately measuring the torque of installed fasteners is essential.
Unlike conventional torque wrenches designed primarily to apply a specified tightening torque, the IST-4W Series is designed specifically for inspection and verification. The wrench allows operators to retighten an already-installed fastener while monitoring the torque value at which looseness is detected, providing a practical method for verifying installed fastener torque.

Designed for Torque Inspection
The IST-4W Series is designed for applications where the goal is to verify torque on an existing fastener, rather than simply apply a predetermined tightening torque.
In manual detection mode, the operator can retighten an existing bolt while monitoring the digital torque measurement. When the fastener begins to loosen, the wrench detects the corresponding torque value, providing an inspection measurement of the installed fastener.
