V-Anvil Measurement for Fluted Components
The V-anvil configuration provides a dedicated measuring method for determining the diameter of components with odd numbers of flutes. This makes the 3590 particularly useful for inspection of cutting tools and other precision-machined components where the geometry of the flutes must be taken into account during measurement.
The 60° V-anvil arrangement is matched to the intended flute configuration, allowing the appropriate model to be selected according to the number of flutes and diameter being inspected.
