The INSIZE 1525-500WL Digital Centerline & Edge-to-Center Caliper is a specialized inspection caliper designed to measure hole center-to-center distances and edge-to-hole center distances on machined and fabricated components. Its dual-purpose measuring jaws provide a practical solution for centerline measurements that are difficult or time-consuming to obtain with a conventional digital caliper.
The 1525-500WL provides a 10–500 mm (0.4–20") edge-to-center measuring range and a 20–500 mm (0.8–20") center-to-center measuring range, with 0.01 mm (0.0005") resolution and ±0.09 mm accuracy. Built-in wireless data output allows measurement results to be transmitted to a compatible data-collection system.

Two Specialized Measurement Functions
Edge-to-Center Measurement
The upper measuring jaws are designed to measure the distance from a component's edge to the center of a hole.
This is useful when inspecting hole locations relative to an outside edge, particularly on plates, brackets, machined components, and fabricated parts.
Edge-to-center range: 10–500 mm (0.4–20")
Center-to-Center Measurement
The lower measuring jaws allow the operator to measure the distance between the centers of two holes.
The 1525 design can be used for centerline measurements between holes in the same plane or offset planes, making it useful for inspecting hole patterns and dimensional relationships that are difficult to measure directly with a standard caliper.

Why Use a Centerline & Edge-to-Center Caliper?
A conventional digital caliper is excellent for measuring outside dimensions, inside dimensions, depths, and steps, but determining the center of a hole relative to another feature can require additional calculations or specialized measuring techniques.

Measurement Guidance
