The INSIZE 1157 Digital Height Gauge is a high-precision height measuring system designed for dimensional inspection on a stable reference surface. With a 0–50 mm measuring range, 1 µm / 0.00005" resolution, and 3 µm accuracy, the 1157 provides the fine measurement capability needed for precision inspection and metrology applications.

1157-501 — Granite Base
The 1157-501 features a precision granite base with 2 µm flatness, providing a stable reference surface for precision height measurements. Granite construction makes this configuration well suited for inspection-room and metrology applications where a rigid, stable measuring platform is required.
1157-502 — Ceramic Base
The 1157-502 uses a ceramic base with 1 µm flatness. INSIZE specifies the ceramic surface as wear- and corrosion-resistant, making this configuration particularly useful where resistance to surface wear and environmental exposure is important.
High-Resolution Digital Measurement
With 1 µm resolution, the 1157 is designed for measurements where conventional 0.01 mm digital height gauges do not provide sufficient resolution.
