The Fowler-Bowers XTH3 Bluetooth Holematic is an electronic pistol-grip bore gage system designed for accurate internal diameter measurement with extended travel and fixed anvils. The pistol-grip handle incorporates constant measuring pressure to help eliminate operator “feel,” while adjustable trigger travel helps reduce over-travel and hand fatigue during repetitive inspection.
This series includes the XTH3 individual bore gage heads, pistol-grip handles, and complete Bluetooth sets shown in the options above. The modular system allows the same pistol-grip platform to be configured for different bore sizes and specialized applications.

Measurement Capabilities
The XTH3 platform uses self-centering bore gage heads with fixed anvils. Fowler specifies tungsten carbide measuring faces on 3-point heads from 0.500 in (12.5 mm) and larger. Sizes over 0.500 in (12.5 mm) feature blind-bore capability.
Special-anvil heads are available for applications involving threads, splines, slots, and other specialized geometries. Contact Fowler Technical Department for special-anvil applications.
Bluetooth Electronic Bore Measurement
The Bluetooth XTH3 combines electronic bore measurement with connectivity for modern inspection workflows. In addition to Bluetooth, the system supports proximity output and USB connectivity. Four preset memories provide convenient access to frequently used measurement settings.

Calibration & Setting
Fowler states that setting rings are included with XTH3 sets. Fowler also specifies UKAS certificates for the pistol grip, heads, and rings supplied with applicable XTH3 configurations.
